The course of studies is that prescribed by Government of Nepal
with a few additions. The medium of
instruction is English. Academic
Session is divided into three terms and
each term ends with the conduction of
terminal examination.
Pass marks for all students in
all subjects are 50%. Promotion
depends on the students’ performance
SVP aims its students’ being
able to be cultivated with the
knowledge and skill necessary for
adjusting in the transient society. So its
aim is to link the theory with practical in
many subjects. For this students have
to submit a Research Paper at the end
of every terminal exam.
We believe that educational
outings by and visits to the school
outings by and visits to the school by experts greatly enhance the children’s
learning experience and are essential to the development of an inquiring and
imaginative mind. Such visits stimulate greater interest and often provide handson
experiences that help children make sense of historical, geographical or
scientific concepts.
Examination and Promotion
Emphasis on Practical Study
throughout the year (not only on his/her academic performance in the final
examination but other factors such as conduct and behaviour and the whole year's
performance are also taken into consideration) and not merely on marks scored in
any particular examination. If a student is absent from mid term test or terminal
exam, he/she will not appear for it at a later day. There is no system of reexamination
or re-consideration of a student who has not been promoted.
Concerns & Complaints
The school is known for its friendly, approachable and caring staff. Teachers are
happy to discuss children's progress, achievements, strengths and areas which
need attention.
If you have a concern or a complaint, firstly discuss it with your child's class
teacher or Incharge or if it is discussed and are not satisfied with the result consult
with Principal.
